How does PRO-SAN® work? PRO-SAN® works in three ways:

FAQ What is PRO-SAN® L?
RO-SAN® L is a fast acting ready to use sanitizer in a spray bottle. You can conveniently use the spay to clean and sanitize food contact surfaces such as countertops, cutting boards, dishes, sinks, doorknobs and other surfaces. It can also be used on fruits and vegetables to kill bacteria and extend the shelf life.

Is it safe to use PRO-SAN® L on fruits and vegetables?
PRO-SAN® L is safe and non-toxic to wash fruits and vegetables. It is made using only the USDA and FDA approved food ingredients and/or GRAS food additives. It does not contain Chlorine (bleach) or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QUATS). It is not soap and will not leave residue on fruits and vegetables.

How do I use PRO-SAN® L (Liquid)?
To clean fruits and vegetables spray with PRO-SAN® L to wet the entire surface and keep for at least one minute, and then rinse with water. To sanitize food contact surfaces like counters tops, dishes, utensils, sinks, drains, cutting boards spray with PRO-SAN® L for at least one minute. NO NEED TO RINSE with water.

PRO-SAN® powder is available in 4 sizes PRO-SAN® 24 oz refill for the 24 oz RTU Pro-San L, PRO-SAN® 32 oz refill for the 32 oz RTU PRO-SAN® L, 1 gallon powder package to make 1 gallon solution with tap water, and institutional pouch makes about 8 gallons (30L) of solution with tap water. The entire pouch needs to be used at the same time, since ingredients may separate during transportation. For Fruits and vegetables immerse fruits and vegetables in PRO-SAN® solution for at least one minute, and then rinse with water. The solution may be used for several batches of produce at the same time. To sanitize food contact surfaces like counters, dishes, utensils, sinks, drains, cutting boards apply PRO-SAN® solution for at least one minute. NO NEED TO RINSE with water.

As long as the solution remains clear uncontaminated with fruit juices and dirt it may be used for cleaning additional batch of produce. To clean hard food contact surfaces like counters, dishes, utensils, sinks, drains, cutting boards apply PRO-SAN® LC solution for at least one minute then drain excess fluid and allow to dry.
